2015 Indigenous Employment and Leadership Roundtable
In late April 2015, ACELG and consortium partner LGMA held an 'Indigenous Employment and Leadership in Local Government - a Two-Way Value Proposition Roundtable' in Darwin, in association with the LGMA National Congress.
The Roundtable was a natural extension of the previous four Indigenous employment in local government roundtables, while taking advantage of both the Congress theme "Local Government: The Value Proposition" and its location in the Top End. The Roundtable was designed to improve engagement and consultation with Indigenous and non-Indigenous local government and other key stakeholders, and brought together many presenters and participants to discuss the issues at hand.
