- presentations from the Department of Employment on Indigenous employment labour market; the Department of Education and Training on the federal government’s workforce programs; the Committee for Economic Development Australia (CEDA) on Australia’s Future Workforce and implications for local government; and on rethinking skills in VET;
- the launch of the ACELG/LGPA Mature Age Workforce Resource; and
- an opportunity for information exchange and discussion on current local government workforce issues.
The Forum will also inform the sector about projects that ACELG and LG Professionals have developed to support this important aspect of the local government sector.
