Launch of low carbon futures paper

The discussion paper "Local Action for a Low Carbon Future" was launched at the University of Technology, Sydney on Thursday 14 June. The launch was part of the seminar, "Low Carbon Futures: Opportunities for Local Government", co-hosted by ACELG and UTS:CLG. The presenters were:
- Cheryl Thomas, Executive Director, the Council of Capital City Lord Mayors and Stefanie Pillora, ACELG, who spoke about the discussion paper and other initiatives;
- Professor Tony Jackson, University of Dundee, who outlined recent research on climate change action in North West USA and Scotland; and
- Chris Dunstan (Institute for Sustainable Futures), who provided commentary on promoting low carbon communities and clean energy responses to climate change.
